Crypto Profit Calculator

Work out profit, ROI and break-even from your entry, exit and fees.

Break-even sell
Enter your buy price, sell price, the amount of coin and any percentage fees, and the calculator returns your profit or loss, return on investment (ROI), and the break-even sell price — the price at which fees exactly cancel out your gain. For example, buying 1 coin at $100 and selling at $120 with 0.1% fees on each side nets a profit of roughly $19.80 and an ROI just under 20%, once the small fee drag is subtracted. It is a planning aid; it does not account for tax, slippage or exchange-specific costs beyond the flat percentage you enter.

FAQ

What counts as break-even?

The sell price at which your total proceeds, after fees on both the buy and the sell, exactly equal what you originally paid — so your profit is zero. Sell above it for a gain, below it for a loss.

Does this include tax?

No. Tax treatment of crypto gains varies by country and by how long you held the asset, and this calculator does not attempt to estimate it. Check your local tax rules separately.

What fee percentage should I enter?

Use the trading fee your exchange actually charges for that order type, typically shown on the exchange's own fee schedule. Maker and taker fees often differ, so use whichever applies to your order.

Does it account for slippage?

No. Slippage — the gap between the price you see and the price you actually get filled at — depends on order size and market depth at the moment you trade, which this calculator cannot know in advance. Treat the result as an estimate, not a guaranteed number.
