Good reasons to write
- Corrections. Something looks wrong on a page. Include the page and, if you can, a source. See our corrections policy for what happens next.
- Tips. A story, a pattern of behaviour, a scam doing the rounds. Tell us what you saw and how you know.
- Guide pitches. A problem you had to solve the hard way and think others hit too. Those often make the best Toolkit entries.
- Questions about a review. Anything about a score or a device, read alongside our methodology.
- Advertising and partnerships. Start with advertise with CoinCrafty so you know our rules before you write.
- Privacy requests. Access, deletion or objection requests under our privacy policy.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give personalised financial advice. Questions of the “should I buy this” or “is now a good time” kind will get a polite no, because answering them properly requires knowing your whole situation and we are a publication, not your adviser.
We cannot recover lost funds, reverse a transaction, unlock a wallet or retrieve a forgotten seed phrase. Nobody can, and anyone promising otherwise is running a scam on top of your bad day.
We cannot provide support for third-party products. We do not work for the exchanges, wallets or manufacturers we write about, and we have no access to your accounts with them. Take those questions to the company itself, ideally through a link you found on their own site.
What to expect
We are a small operation and we read everything, but we cannot promise a reply to every message. Reports affecting reader safety and corrections to live pages are handled first. Pitches and general questions take longer, and sometimes silence just means the queue.
Please do not send confidential documents, account credentials or anything that could identify you unnecessarily in a first message. If a tip is sensitive, describe it in general terms first and we will work out a sensible route together.
A standing warning
CoinCrafty will never contact you first. We do not send direct messages, we run no chat support, we never ask for a seed phrase, private key or password, and we never ask you to connect a wallet or approve a transaction. Anyone doing those things in our name is an impostor, whatever their profile looks like.
