This is an iPad charging slow. This is a problem, because I don’t have the space to get an iPad into the charging dock.
So here’s the good news: you can just hold it on the dock and it will work fine. The same dock adapter can be wired to your computer, which then needs a cable to plug into your computer to charge the iPad. If you’re using an adapter with a USB port at the bottom, that means that you need some way to charge your computer (or you’ll need to buy a dock adapter that has a USB port at the bottom).
I could be wrong, but I think that your computer will be able to charge your iPad from the dock adapter. I think the first iPad charger will charge your iPad from your computer, but not the second one.
