The design of the wallet pouch would make people take a little longer to get used to the idea of its waterproof. It could also be a little more subtle in appearance, but for the same reason I feel that waterproof is needed on pockets and wallets.
The first thing people notice when they open the wallet pouch is that it is waterproof. I just think that the material is too thick and not lightweight enough to not take away from the wallet pouch’s look. It would also be an easy mistake to do and could also cause a bunch of trouble if anyone were to make the mistake.
I know it’s just a bag, but I think waterproof is necessary for wallets because it also protects them on the inside.
