This is my favorite lightning cord because it can also be used as a USB extension cable. It is long enough to reach the furthest corners of my home without going through the wall. I just love it because it is easy to use and doesn’t look anything like a standard lightning cord, but still looks like it is going to be used. I have to warn you though, the longer it is, the more it will sweat and dry out and eventually get brittle.
The lightning cord is more of a “welcome to my world” type of cord because it is a bit more durable and long-lasting than a normal lightning cord. Unlike a normal lightning cord which is about 4 ft long, the lightning cord is about 10 ft long. I am not really sure why I keep this cord at my desk, but it is there.

So there is no way you are going to be able to use it unless you are a professional like a fireman.
I agree with you, but I also have to add that you shouldn’t use the lightning cord on a building site as it can cause serious issues. Even if you are using a cord supplied by the company, you are never going to be able to use it because there are only a limited number of cords available for each company.
It can be used, however, on a home site with an electrical hook up. Just make sure you are using a cord that is compatible with this device and you should be good to go.
