I was lucky enough to travel and work for several hospitals over the course of my career. The best part about working for the hospital was the ability to work with some of the best people in medicine. At each hospital I worked for, I was able to meet doctors and nurses who were doing incredible work and learn from the best. This gave me an appreciation for the work that was being done in the hospitals.
The job of a hospital employee is to keep the hospital running. They’re there to make sure that the patients are healthy, that the doctors, nurses, and staff are safe, and that the hospital is well-funded for the long haul.
The problem is that hospital employees are also there to make sure that the government stays in power. That means they have to make sure that the hospitals stay safe, that the doctors dont do anything stupid, that the nurses dont make unnecessary choices, that the staff dont do stupid things, etc.
But that doesnt mean that the hospital should be doing things the government wont. That is an unfair burden upon employees who make a lot of money. When youre a part of this company, youre not just a paycheck, youre part of the healthcare system. If the government goes under, your employer will have to pay all of the bills. And if the government goes under, youll be out of work.
One of the major concerns that I see with health care is the overuse of “medicare” as a generic term. I get that the government’s budget is constantly increasing, and that that needs to be met, but when we talk about “medicare” we’re almost always talking about hospitals, not doctors. Doctors and nurses are not in that line of work, they’re in the medical field, which is totally different for all intents and purposes.
So what we need to do is remove the generic wording, and instead we need to discuss what exactly the term “medicare” means. If you are a doctor and you see a patient that requires a specific treatment you have to prescribe that treatment. If you are a nurse and you see a patient that requires a specific treatment you can’t just use a generic term for the treatment.
The only thing that could be considered generic would be the generic wording of the title, so we should change it to what it is in the title itself.
Medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with the healing and maintaining of the human body. The term medicare is an all-purpose term for the government’s program for health care.
So what’s the difference between doctor and nurse? A doctor does a lot more than take care of patients. It’s not uncommon for a doctor to be the first point of contact for sick people and their families. In general, doctors will take care of the acute problems that a person has, such as infections or cancer. Doctors may do surgery or other procedures as well.
Nurses do the routine stuff that doctors don’t do such as basic lab work. They may run blood tests and administer medication as well as assisting in the care of the patient. Nurses can also perform specialized procedures such as providing a wound dressing.
