I have been a nurse for more than 30 years. I am a nurse practitioner, a nurse educator, and the CEO of a nurse practitioner business. I am an avid traveler and a nurse who enjoys working with the most vulnerable amongst us.
I’ve worked with hundreds of patients, and all of them have some form of kidney disease. Most of the time these patients have lived with some form of kidney disease for a lifetime, but for the most part they are patients with a very mild form of the disease. It is not uncommon for them to only have a few months to live, but when they do, they often have a very negative outlook on life.
I am a nurse practitioner. I enjoy working with the most vulnerable amongst us. With that in mind, I am looking for opportunities to work with patients who are looking for a more positive outlook on life. I have worked with hundreds of patients, and all of them have some form of kidney disease. Most of the time these patients have lived with some form of kidney disease for a lifetime, but for the most part they are patients with a very mild form of the disease.
In general, patients with mild kidney disease are better off than those with more advanced forms.
So as you can imagine, this is a very difficult thing to find. In many cases, patients with advanced kidney disease simply don’t have insurance that covers the surgery, so they are forced to go into the hospital and receive the treatment. In cases of severe kidney disease, the treatment is not available in any other way. There are also cases where patients with advanced kidney disease have no other options. For these patients, dialysis is their only hope.
What better way to get in touch with a group of patients who are suffering in silence than to bring them into your office and show them a new product? This is a very common situation. I know people that have come into my office to ask about treatment and have been met with blank stares. If you are going to go beyond the hospital walls and show them a new treatment option, then it has to be a treatment that is available.
You can also try a different type of treatment, but you have to be ready to be turned away or have the wrong paperwork before you can get started. So for example, I have a dialysis nurse that is currently working at a local dialysis clinic. In theory this means that she has the right paperwork and is qualified to do the treatment, but I am not sure that this is the case when you are dealing with people who are not on dialysis.
While I’m sure this makes the medical field safer and more accessible for more people, it can also potentially make all the other medical jobs that are currently out of reach for people with health problems that may be treatable by these doctors. If you have low back pain, for example, you may not be able to work in a position where you are exposed to the same type of exposure that a dialysis nurse may be exposed to.
There are a lot of jobs that are out of reach for everyone, but that is definitely a possibility with the advent of the new dialysis industry. For example, I know that the only position that would make sense for me in the dialysis field would be a travel nurse. It doesn’t make sense to me, but if you are on dialysis and the job you want is not available, you may have to start looking elsewhere.
