Spensier is the main character of the new game, and her story has been told before in the form of two short video clips. In the new game, Spencer is a nurse who is currently in her final year of college. She’s been working at a hospital for a while now, but this is her first real job. She’s also a widow, and her husband, who died recently is still missing, so she’s now a mother who cares for her two young children. The game’s story is told in the form of five short stories.
The stories are loosely based on the idea that Spencer is going to help her husband search for his missing friend. Its not clear what exactly happened to him, but it seems like her husband was trying to help someone who he thought was dying. In the last story, they start to uncover a plan to kill her, but it involves her being kidnapped by a mysterious cult.
Spencers husband is working in an engineering company and they are starting to feel that maybe she isn’t the one he should be searching for. Is Spencer trying to help him, or is she being controlled by something? Either way, her husband is the only one who can help her.
