I’ve spent a lot of my time over the years trying to learn the basics of how our technology works. It is also a great example of how technology is changing things so quickly. We are being able to talk with people who are living their lives in other ways. We are learning to interact with one another in other ways than just text. If you look at the way technology has moved on the last few years, it has changed so much. It is really interesting to compare that to how things used to be.
Before cell phones we would text to people to let them know we were on the way. We would also send letters and postcards. We didn’t have the technology to be able to send letters and postcards to each other. This was the norm. There was no way for us to get together, get to know each other, and find out what each person thought about our lives.
Today we can send a text message or send a letter to someone on the internet and they will be able to answer it. So whats happening now with the cell phone, the computer, and the internet? We can now send messages to each other and we can see each other on the internet. We can call each other and see each other on the phone.
Today the first thing people did when they got a Samsung was to buy a $2.50 gift card to a store. While this was great and we were actually able to buy something from a store, it also reminded us of how much technology is in our lives and how often we forget. It meant that we could buy ourselves something, but it also gave us the idea that we were now able to call each other. To see each other. In person.
We still don’t know if this is just a new Samsung feature or if it has been in the works for a while. We did find out that we were able to see each other on the internet yesterday because our phones would dial up a signal that we could see each other through. We did find out that our phones also call other phones because of this feature.
