With the end of summer behind us, can you really say that you are ready to take on the next chapter of your life? You have maybe saved that summer for the first time in a long time, or maybe even saved a few pennies, but now the time has come to set some new goals.
As if that’s not bad enough, now you are in the midst of a new year and you have to start something new. And since summer is over, you suddenly have the whole year to live and breath again.
Well, that sounds like a pretty good way to start your new year. I mean, how bad is it to say that you are ready to kick back and get some work done? Of course, getting some work done is one thing, but to actually get some work done is another. But the thing is, getting your first pay check isn’t the real deal, it is the best you can do.
To do that, you have to think of it as a “project.” A project is simply something you want to do. You can have a project at any point in time, but you have to get to the point where you are willing to do it now. For example, if you are writing a book, you will want to finish that project as soon as you can.
Projects are also a great way to create momentum. A project is when you are in your most ideal state. You are making a decision that you are ready to commit to. So if you want to have that first pay check, then you have to have that first pay check as soon as you can. You have to be ready to commit to that.

(In fact, the name Project Vida is derived from the Spanish word for project, and it refers to the game’s concept of a project manager.
Project Vidas is all about creating a coherent, well-defined plan on how the game will proceed in each of its nine chapters. From there, an actual team of people who are working on that project will start work on it, allowing Project Vida to grow into a bigger project. The first project in the game, called project vida el paso, consists of the player working on the project.
In the game’s latest chapter, called Vida, players are actually working for a team of five people to complete a project. The main character, a programmer, is also working with the project’s other programmers.
