I know that the majority of the time, we are just trying to think through all the things we are supposed to do. We do not actually do these things at all. We think we do. We try to think things through, but we can’t really do that. We can’t really think about it, and if we don’t think it through, it’s not going to work.
The idea here is that we have to be really aware of the fact that we are not doing these things. Otherwise, it would just be our thoughts that go down that rabbit hole. To make it go a little further, here is a very interesting exercise we have done for ourselves.
You begin by getting up and walking around a large open area. The first step is to find at least three people who are not doing anything. Look around and find as many as you can. Then, if you still have not found anyone who is not doing anything, you are now being asked to do something. If you refuse, you are now being asked to do something you wont do. You are being asked to do something that you are aware of before you begin.
It’s a pretty good exercise and I can’t wait to see if you can work it out for yourself. Do not worry about any of your friends, even your family so as not to be a huge deal. It’s a good exercise and I hope you enjoy it too.
