Our favorite thing is our leather iPhone case that we carry on the side of our backpacks. We prefer this case over the leather-look one because it costs almost half of what it does. We like it because it is so functional. Plus, it’s one of the few things that we can wear on anyone without feeling self-conscious about it.
You may have heard the rumour that Apple has dropped iPhone leather. It is true. Apple has decided to drop the leather look and the classic iPhone case. So now you can buy a regular (no leather) iPhone case for about $30, and a leather-look one for $40.
We are not in the least bit surprised. It was one of the things we wanted. We also were very pleased when we saw that Apple has redesigned both the backs of the iPhone and iPod touch cases. We got a leather-look case for our iPhone 5, and a leather-look one for our ipod touch. We like them both.
We like leather because it’s a very versatile material. It is easy to maintain, durable, and can last through a lifetime of wear and tear. It’s also a rather stylish look. The leather you see here was made by our very own Paul Woehrle.
The company was founded in 1996 by Jeff Wilkins who is known for his work with Apple. His work in creating the Apple Watch, the first watch to have a monogrammed leather band, only started in 2011, so it was a bit earlier than us when we saw it. The Apple Watch was the first watch to have a monogrammed leather band. While some watches have monogrammed bands, Apple only uses this style on the Apple Watch. That’s because the Apple Watch has a very large screen, which means it doesn’t fit in the smaller leather bands used by other watches. It’s also a thinner watch, which means it doesn’t have to be as thick as a regular Apple Watch.
Woehrle has been using this design for a while to showcase his Apple Watch design. He has also made a leather case for the Apple Watch and a leather case for a new Mac Pro case, which is also monogrammed.
