I had never heard of the term “children’s books” until I started reading “The Little Engine That Could.” From that novel, I learned something about children’s books and the way they affect children. The book is full of funny, touching, and touching-through-stories. It is a reminder to me of the many ways that children and their parents have touched me throughout the years.
As I continued reading, I began to notice some similarities between The Little Engine That Could and this children’s book. Both tell the story of a young boy who lives in the 1800s and the hardships he has to face. Both were written by men who loved children, and both are classics that have been re-printed many times. mclane’s kids’ is one of the best books I’ve read for kids. It has a great sense of humor. It also has a really good sense of what happens when the kids are in high school. It’s not a story about kids who are in trouble, it’s about the kids and their parents. And the book teaches kids how to be a responsible adult.
