When its edited to perfection, you can set it so that it automatically runs at certain times. It works so well that Ive been using it to edit videos for years now.
Macromedia’s Macromedia Director allows you to select a time of day or date to run your script. This is such a simple little app it should be required reading for every aspiring filmmaker and all those who have a knack for automation.
The Macro app will come in handy on any occasion when you need to run a script, but it’s also great for making fun videos, or just looking at things in a new way. It’s also a great way to learn how to use Autodesk’s Maya for Mac and Lightroom.

A good way to quickly learn about the many tools that come with the Macromedia Director IDE, and how to use them, is to open up the Macromedia Director app and get going.

You can easily open out Macromedia editor and save it to your Windows PC. Once you’ve done that, you can then open it again from your Mac.
Macromedia Director is also well suited to opening up your Macromedia editor from within the Mac program itself. You can use Macromedia Director to edit your Macromedia files on your Mac. Just open the Macromedia Director app, and you will see all your video and music files. Macromedia Director is very efficient (and does a great job of saving your work!) as well.
