We all have to make a ton of decisions every single day, not just in the most pressing situations but everything in between. I’m not going to lie, going into the office right now, I already know what I want, I just have to make it happen.
It’s not just the most pressing decisions, it’s also the not-so-pressing ones. So if you’re going to be shopping around, you need to be aware of what price you can sell your stuff for, and how much you can buy with that money. For instance, I’ve learned recently that I can sell my house for 33 euros in us dollars. That means that I can sell it for a loss of 3 euros.
The other day I was searching for a new home and I ended up finding a house that is actually cheaper than my current one, selling it for 29.99 euros. I can sell it for only 10.99 euros. (The seller was in the house for 3 days, just like me.
One of the first things that you will want to do to save money is to get rid of stuff that is no longer useful. This doesn’t mean throwing away a TV that you no longer need, but you are still paying for it. In our house we had a TV and a computer, but we were out of space for both of them. That meant that we would have to sell one and pay for it with some of the money we had saved.
The TV we had was one of the most important items in our house, and it was worth between 25 and 30k. We sold it for 5.5k. I think the selling prices of things are down since we have changed our lives. I am pretty sure that if I were to sell to someone right now, I would sell it for much less.
If you are not already paid for the video and the music, then you can use it as a ticket to other parties. The only thing that could be more amazing is your own house.
It’s also worth noting that the cost of the video and the music is probably going to be much lower than the cost of a new TV. You could make your own audio system for a few thousand dollars.
Oh goodness. It reminds me of the early days of the internet. I remember the first time I saw the price of a USB hard drive. It was over 100 dollars. I think it was a brand new one. Oh well, it was a great learning experience.
Not to mention, the fact that we’re not allowed to make a deal with our friends (or family) who are so close by, or to buy a used car or SUV. We don’t have to pay the extra $10 or more for the video game to play.
It’s that “we dont know how much is 31 euros in us dollars” that reminds me of the early days of the internet when many of us couldn’t even figure out how much we owed each other. We’d go to a friend’s house, and the guy would go with them to their house, while we stayed home and watched TV. In my opinion, that was a very naive way to live.
