I have never met a mobile phone I didn’t like. I have had my share of phone calls that have left me with not-so-good taste in my mouth. But you can make an exception for a phone call.
You may remember my last post where I said that I was going to stop using my phone. My goal was to stop the incessant ringing of my answering machine. After all, I don’t think I have the patience for answering a phone call all day long. I did however stop using the phone altogether when I got my first smartphone in the mail. I didn’t need the constant notifications of my voicemail. It was just enough to get me to check my emails.
I still use my phone, but I have to admit that it’s probably not as much as I used to. I’m a phone junkie, and I just can’t stop. I used to get so sick of the constant notifications while using my phone that I would just use my computer instead. Thankfully I’ve gotten a lot better at that. But this is still a big factor in my phone addiction.
I think I just got better at that. I hate the notifications and I hate the constant alerts. I dont know what it is about my phone that makes me so addicted. All I know is that you cant stop me from using it.
Its really hard to not use your phone. After all, when you have so many tools that you can use at once, why would you stop using your phone? When you’re at the mall, what do you do? You have a phone and you walk around checking your phone. When you’re on a flight, what do you do? You have a phone and you check your phone.
I know it’s a pain to type all this, but this video is amazing and the guys who did it are amazing. I’m not trying to be a dick or anything, but if you’re a guy who has a mobile device, you should check out the guys who did this video. Its a really fun video.
I have to admit I have no idea if that is bad or good. The only time I’ve ever seen this happen was with a group of friends and as I left the room the guy I was talking to said, “You shouldn’t be using that.” Now of course if he were to have said this to me, I would have turned around and walked away. But he says that you should not be using a mobile device.
Yeah, it would be like if someone told me I shouldnt be using a mobile phone, I would be like, You shouldn’t be using a cell phone. But it turns out the guy was right. And it was a group video. The guy is a musician, and he has a pretty good idea on what the people were saying, so it was not difficult for him to hear. I’m not sure if that is good or bad.
I don’t want you to become a mobile phone user. I don’t want you to become someone who is always on the go. But I do want you to realize that you need to protect your security and your privacy. You need to be able to get a job, get a loan, have a car, get a passport, and most importantly, think before you text or make a call.
