I was walking through the city on my way to work recently and realized I had the same feeling I used to have as a child: I was walking down the street and suddenly my entire world fell apart. I looked around and saw that I had lost my cell phone, my wallet, and I also had a few items that had fallen out of my pocket. I looked at my watch and realized I had ten minutes. I put my phone back in my pocket and I walked faster.
I’ve heard it said that you should never walk on a sidewalk while carrying something heavy in your pocket. If you really want to get that last item, you need to go to the other end of the sidewalk and walk along the edge. It’s a shame to waste a minute, but it’s probably safer than walking on the sidewalk. It’s like a time loop.

That’s a great point. I think that the idea that our pocket can hold a heavy object is probably the best way to think about it. The idea is that we can go back and forth, but once we reach the edge, the object is safely out of our pocket and we can no longer remember that we have it.
Maybe it’s a time loop, but I think of it as a parallel to the idea that a person’s entire life is contained within their pocket. In other words, time is looped. We can go back and forth, but we can’t go back and forth and then go back and forth again. A person’s entire life is contained in that pocket.
As a result of time being looped, we can no longer remember where we are. We are stuck with our memories of all the times we’ve been back and forth. In other words, we can go back and forth, but as we go, we can no longer remember that we went back. What makes the idea terrifying is that we can forget we’ve been back there, but we cannot forget we have the pocket.
It is true that the only way we can get out of the pocket is if we have the key. But the key doesnt even need to be in the pocket. It just needs to be in our pocket. But it is a pocket. Its a big pocket. Its not a pocket like a purse or a coat or a briefcase, but it is a pocket nonetheless.
The best way to take out an Alien is to go get a gun. But as we discussed in the beginning of this chapter, a gun is a pretty good way to go.
The most obvious option is to go after the person who is the main focus of the game. The reason for this is that this is a very powerful game. It is such a powerful game that it’s not surprising that the majority of the people who play it are not the primary audience of the game.
