While the Apple Watch is a nice addition to the Apple ecosystem, it isn’t a necessity. The Apple ecosystem already has a great offering of apps that help you keep track of your phone, but it’s nice to have more options around the clock.
Another nice feature is that it seems to automatically synch to your iPhone, so you don’t have to be online to use it. This is especially great for me who have two separate iPhones. I also love that it has a built in compass that lets you know how to get to your car if you need to go somewhere quickly.
Apple is definitely trying to do something useful for people who don’t have an iPhone, but it doesn’t seem to be as useful at the moment. I mean, it’s really a pretty good option for keeping track of your appointments, but it’s not an option for keeping a running list of your day’s activities.
