Wayne McDonell is a personal chef. He has worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and has been a chef at some of the best restaurants in the country such as the Ritz Carlton and the Ritz-Carlton. Wayne is a two-time James Beard nominated chef and winner of the James Beard Award for Cookbook of the Year (2011 and 2016). His book, The New Kitchen Manual is now in its third edition.

The thing I loved about McDonell was that he wasn’t just a chef, he was also a guy who had a great sense of humor and made people laugh.
I have the feeling that we are seeing the beginnings of a new trend in the food business. We have a great cook, but I think we also have a great sense of humor.
