Most of us have heard and read that people are concerned about the “dumbing down” of the internet, the fact that it is so easy to find information, and that it is so easy to find information about topics that are not important. The truth is, the internet is being drugged.
All the websites above are full of things that are not important to you. You can find everything you want on Wikipedia, Google, Bing, and so on, and it’s hard to even be aware of stuff that’s not important to you.
If you don’t have that information, you can never get it. But if you do, you can.
This may be why Google is so good at finding stuff. As the old saying goes, “Google is like a cat that walks on all fours.” It’s not that it’s so good at finding stuff, its just that it’s so good at finding things. It makes a lot of sense that the most popular websites are the ones that have the most information and the most people.
