I’ve never owned a screen protector for an Apple laptop before so I am probably the only person on the planet that uses one. I like it because it allows me to remove the screen completely without having to worry about scratches. Also, since the screen protector is made out of such a soft material I could probably take off the screen without worrying about damage or chipping.
Personally I think I’d rather have a screen protector. I have been using this one for about a month now and I love it. The design is great with a rubber backing and great protection. The only downside is that you can’t remove the screen completely. It doesn’t scratch easily but you can scratch it if you’re not careful. That being said, I don’t use my laptop for any serious work so it’s not an issue.
No screen protector? I don’t believe that is possible.
Screen protectors are definitely an area that I think needs to be improved. I have seen many macbook pro 13s with screens that have been broken or scratched and the screen protector has to be removed and discarded. That is a really bad way to prevent scratches and chipping. I have seen macbook pro 13s that have been left on a table in the office and have scratched the screen on their own.
For this reason alone I think screen protectors should always have a layer of protective film. I know from experience that I have had my macbook pro 13 screen scratched when I had no screen protectors.
Screen protectors work in a similar way to the screen protector for tablets, except that they don’t leave a layer of film. Instead, they just fill in the scratches. I have also found that when I have been using a macbook pro 13 without screen protectors I have managed to scratch the screen and damage the screen so badly that they are not usable.
I have been using screen protectors on my macbook pro 13 for a few years now and they always seem to be spot on. I have also found that they are great for protecting the screen from the elements. It is also great for protecting the top glass of a display screen which is sometimes scratched up. Sometimes I even have my macbook pro 13 screen protector on underneath the screen protector at times.
