You can refer to a dollar in the same way if you want to talk about a particular country’s currency, you can say that it is made of dollars, or you can say that it is worth a dollar.
Like any currency, the value of a dollar depends on the currency in which it is used. For instance, the dollar in the U.S. has a value in the same way as the British pounds. The value of a dollar in the U.S. is also not much different than the value of a dollar in Canada, but the value of the dollar in the U.S. is much higher because more people own the dollar. The same goes for the euro.

While some euro countries use the euro as their currency, like France, the U.S. uses its own currency, the United States Dollar. Most of these higher value currencies are considered “euros.
In the U.S. Dollar, the dollar has a value of $1, $2, and so forth. The euro has a value of €1, €2, and so forth. For the person who doesn’t know what a pound is in the U.K., it’s a number of pounds equal to 1.25 times the number of pounds in the U.S.
If you are a serious gamer, you can use the United States Dollar to buy things in the U.S. If you are a gamer or just a serious person, you need to know that this is a lot of money. Some games, like Darksiders II, have a premium. A few games, like Halo, have microtransactions that can change the price of the game from a few bucks to hundreds of dollars.
For example, a person with a 500 dollar bill in their wallet could have bought a Xbox 360 just for the cost of an Xbox 360 game. A person with a dollar fifty in their pocket could have bought a copy of Assassin’s Creed. A person with a dollar twenty in their pocket could have bought a copy of Far Cry. A person with a dollar five in their pocket could have bought a copy of Minecraft.
That’s how much is really in one’s pocket, but it’s just one’s pocket. You can also spend money on something else, like a new car or a new pair of shoes, and the entire value of your money drops. So what is the true value of your money? Is it worth even one cent? Well, that’s the question you should be asking yourself when looking at your bills.
